The Media Pad Recognised as one of Anthill’s ‘coolest’ Companies

The Media Pad has been recognised with HIGHLY REGARDED accolades in the Australian Anthill 2012 Cool Company Awards.

We received two highly regarded awards in the Online Business and the X-Factor categories. The X-Factor Award recognised companies that demonstrate extraordinary levels of innovative, entrepreneurial and creative flair. The Online Business Award celebrated Australian businesses that harness online models to achieve positive commercial outcomes, looking at the novelty and/or innovative nature of the business model in the Australian marketplace.

Australian Anthill Editor-in-Chief-, James Tuckerman, said the calibre of nominees covered a wide array of companies, from two-person start-ups and not-for-profit social enterprises, to large private companies and publicly-listed corporations.

“The Cool Company Awards are extremely egalitarian.¬†Judging takes into account far more than mere business variables, such as revenue and wealth. The criteria are geared to consider other qualities, from the disruptive nature of the product or service to the culture of the organisation,” he said.

The Cool Company Awards is a celebration and recognition of Australian businesses that are innovative and “do things differently to bring about positive change”. Over 700 aspiring ‘cool’ companies were nominated in 2012. Category Winners and the Coolest Company¬†will be revealed at an awards event on December 6th.
